Around this time last year, I felt like I was on the brink of new adventures and discoveries. It was my senior year of high school, and so many things were happening. We had events such as Senior Breakfast, Senior Walk, and, of course, Prom. Last year I attended prom with my best friend, Luke Henderson, who later asked me out to be his girlfriend. It was such a fun weekend...I even blogged about it! ( Read about Prom 2014 here ) Well, as many of you probably know, Luke is now in his senior year (and almost done, too!) which means he had a prom to attend as well. Which meant I had to get to prom one way or another! Luke never disappoints, especially when it comes to asking questions. He asked me to prom last year with bell peppers and Little Debbie swiss rolls, sang to me when he asked me out, and this year was no exception to the wonderful ways of Luke Henderson. Happy April and Happy Easter! Golly, this semester is really blowing by. I can't believe we have a little over a month until I'm done with my first year at college!! I can still easily remember feeling scared and excited in August...and here I am, best friends with my roommates...and we know what we are doing (kind of...). April started off with a bang, since the first is April Fool's Day! I've never been too good at pranking people, but Mary had been planning something for a very long time. We decided to Cage Bailey. According to " Know Your Meme ," Caging is defined as a type of practical joke that involves taping photographic prints of the American actor Nicolas Cage to someone else's room or belongings without knowledge or consent. Lately, life has seemed to just fly right by. Tests keep coming up, among other things, and I find it hard to sometimes take time and write a little bit. I'm not going to lie, writing a blog post takes me hours...Although it's a seemingly-long process, I always enjoy writing, especially when people are willing to listen to me. I've prepared a different kind of blog post today. This is for the high school seniors (and others who might find this useful). I hold many high schoolers close to my heart, and I know your time in high school is drawing to a close. It's scary, but exciting. You're on the brink of new adventures and experiences, and that's just the beginning!  So, in light of this, I have gathered some helpful advice from people you may or may not know. Happy March! Oh my word, I can't believe it's March already. If you can't tell from my lack of blog posts, this semester is flying by so quickly! (That "Springing Ahead" thing where we lose an hour makes the feeling even worse...especially in the morning! Arrgh.) Do not fret, however! I am staying busy, but in the best way. School is keeping me working, but we all find time to have fun. In the end of February, we had a nice snowfall. It was cool in the fact that, well, it was snow. But it wasn't cool with the fact that my university still has yet to cancel classes at a time that truly affects me. I know I'm not the only one who feels so bitter towards the weather...but we can all come together and say, "At least it's pretty."
