Chapter Twenty-Five: Day Seven
Day Seven
My family was reunited for our last day in Walt Disney's World. We decided to spend our last day in Animal Kingdom, one of the four parks of Disney World.
This park is basically a giant zoo; there are a bunch of animals like monkeys, macaws, otters, crocodiles, and so on scattered throughout the park.
The park also has "Treks" where we can walk a trail and see animals.
Sleepy Bats
There was even a room on one of the Treks where exotic birds were freely flying about. This is particularly cool because many birds crossed our path...so close we could almost touch them!
We called these Banana Pigeons, because they were yellow and looked like Pigeons!
Cute little bird who followed us around!
Colorful bird!
Anyway, early in the morning, Dad and I went to go ride Expedition Everest; a high speed adventure through the Himalayan mountains. This was, by far, my favorite coaster.

After this, we all went on the Kali River Rapids; a wet ride down the Kali River. We got pretty wet!
Then, last but not least, we experienced the Kilimanjaro Safari ride. This is where we are taken, by jeep, to free roaming habitats of the animals of Africa. This was pretty cool because the animals could be as far or close as they desired.
All in all, our time in Animal Kingdom was great. The majority of the park is shaded because of all the trees...which we all appreciated, because I think we all were a little sunburned.
The end of the day meant the end of our time at Disney World. It was a wonderful experience, and I am so appreciative of the generosity of my parents. I really had the best time. Despite the over-priced souvenirs and food, I really do love this place. I'll miss it! But for now, farewell!
Thanks for making my graduation so special.
