Chapter Twenty-Three: Day Five
Day Five
Today we woke up extra early because it was the day we were going to explore the biggest park: Magic Kingdom!
Magic Kingdom is the oldest and biggest park in Disney World. It's separated into many different lands like Adventureland, Frontierland, Liberty Square, Fantasyland, and Tomorrowland. My favorite, of course, is Fantasyland. Especially since Disney has recently began expanding Fantasyland, calling it New Fantasyland. So now each of the princesses have their own little section in the park.
Well, today my family and I rode some of the classics: Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean. I remember riding these all the way back in 2003...that's how great they are! Not only are they unforgettable, but the imagineering (engineering- Disney terms) that went behind these rides- especially Haunted Mansion- is incredible.
Pirates of the Caribbean...Arr!
We spent a lot of time just exploring the different lands and seeing what we could. I also met a couple of characters!
Peter Pan!
Among these characters, I met the one I've admired for years. You all know how much I love Rapunzel. So I waited in an hour long line to finally meet my favorite princess.
She was so sweet, and I could barely talk to her because I was so excited. My heart was pounding so hard throughout the whole experience.
Later on we got to experience the Electrical Parade, a parade with floats that light up the streets.

And then my family and I made our way to the back of the castle, where we got a cool, close encounter with the evening fireworks.

It was so beautiful and was everything and more I could have ever hoped for. I was so overwhelmed with happiness I couldn't hold back my tears. I was just so, so happy. I'm incredibly blessed...and beauty like this reminds me how lucky I am. Thank you.

After the fireworks, we began heading for the front of the park to exit for the day. However, before we could make it, the lights went out and the attention was brought back to the castle, where Celebrate the Magic! was beginning. Projected images were displayed on the castle, showing beautiful images and videos of Mickey, scenes from movies like Lilo and Stitch, Wreck-It Ralph, and Frozen. Scenes of princesses were displayed, too. I, once again, couldn't hold back tears when the lanterns lit up the castle to a ballad version of "I See The Light" began playing. It was so beautiful and simple and perfect. I will never forget this...You can watch the Celebrate the Magic! here:
After this, we eventually made our way back to the hotel. It was, once again, a great, great day.
